Some good news for you all here! Matt’s legendary ‘lost’ album The Common Good has been remastered for hi res, and is being released on December 18th with the help of Karousel Music Buried Treasure via AWAL, with Matt keeping all of his rights to the album. That’s something which is very important to us all after all he’s been through. It’ll be available on all streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer and in hi res 24 bit 96k on sites such as Amazon Music UK, Qobuz and TIDAL. Eternal thanks for the remaster of the original tapes to Russ at MOTTOsound who has been incredibly generous with helping us on this project.
It’s part of the plan to fulfil Matt’s wishes to have his catalogue available for the time around when Sky Arts air the documentary early next year… keep your eyes peeled for more news before Christmas… and please: share the love! Post it around and say what the album means to you – a few words always makes a difference. There’s a whole planet out there of people who would love Matt’s records, and it’s our mission to find them and help him take his place among the legendary British acts that our country has been known for. The album features some amazing musicians, including Paul Weller, Steven White, Marco Nelson, Nicola Bright-Thomas, Crispin Taylor, Mick Talbot, Ernie McKone, Stuart Nelson and Greg Boroman.
